We are so grateful that you have taken the time to visit our website. Calvary has been blessed with 110 years of history in the heart of Jackson. We are grateful for our past and very hopeful about our future.
Our mission is to be God’s light and salt right where we were planted 82 years ago. Our neighborhood has changed, our church population has changed, but the love of God and its great power to change lives never changes.
Our calling is to share love to those in the world, beginning in our Jerusalem. The Lord of the Harvest says to us that we are to ask Him to send forth laborers because the fields are white unto harvest. So, we are asking. We invite you to come and worship, study, grow, and labor with us.
These are days of change for Calvary Church. Our Body of Faith is being challenged to trust God, seek Him, and obey Him with all of our hearts. We are not afraid because God is with us, and He is able to do all things. This is a season of expectation to see where God leads us and what He is preparing for us.
We invite you to come and join us for worship on Sundays or prayer meeting on Wednesdays. We have many opportunities for mission and ministry in Jackson’s inner city. If you are looking for a place where you are needed and where there are opportunities for you to live out your faith in mission, we invite you to come and join us.
